Where Are You Registered?

Okay, first off, we find this incredibly weird, and just weren't going to. But. This apparently (and we did not know this) is the official question which follows our announcement that we've set a date. People want to give us stuff. It's nice. So we're trying to make this easy, without saying "we must own this $17,000 espresso machine; buy it for us or we'll mock you at future lavish anniversary dinners to which everyone but you will be invited".

Here are some gift ideas;

- Art. Yours, preferably, or the work of some local starving artist you enjoy and wish to support.

- Overnight babysitting. Oh. Yeah.

- A charitable donation to The Red Cross or Amnesty International.

So, in the end, we broke down and registered at Chintz because there's one in Vancouver and one in Victoria, and we found many beautiful gifty things under $20.

It was all terribly good fun, so we went to the Mercedes dealership and registered there, too. And if you have a spare $17,000, there are some very nice espresso machines, but don't go to any trouble.
